This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit they discuss conditionals and reported speech. Conditionals are sentences containing words as 'if' and 'when' and they refer to the past, present and future possibilities. There are two clauses, the 'if ' clause and the main clause. There are five main conditionals; zero-, first-, second-, third- and mixed conditionals. Reported speech (also known as indirect speech) is reported words of what a person said. When changing direct speech to reported speech there are in tenses and with question words the verb changes into the positive form. In this unit I learnt new useful teaching techniques that will help a lot.
