This unit explains and I have learnt how to go about teaching vocabulary and the structures to follow. I have learnt and it covers what would influence the learning of a language for an individual. Meaning that the student would most likely learn the language being taught if it is associated with or sounds like something they already know, how appropriate it is and the spelling and pronunciation of it.
It also covers what students would need to know about what they are being taught. Like the meaning of a word, how to use it, its appropriate grammar, how it is spelt and pronounced.
The unit goes on to introduce the different ESA structures to use depending on if you are teaching grammatical structures or language function.
