This unit was a great review of what I learned from the combination online and in class course I previously took. Having a review of the teaching methods was very beneficial. I realized that I am definitely more comfortable using the standard straight arrow ESA method. However, I realized that the boomerang method would be great for a review lesson of the topic learned before. By having an activate phase before a study phase, a teacher will be able to see if the students understand the material taught previously. Then the teacher can use the study phase to review any mistakes made during the activity. Also learning the advantages and disadvantages of teaching adults either individually or in a group, gave me an understanding of what I can aspect and how to manage potential issues beforehand.
