This unit covered lesson planning and the importance of a good but flexible lesson that allows for adjustment if needed. How to use it as a working document,a record of student progress to aid in targeting areas that need attention. Also the issue of possibly needing someone to step in due to absence was addressed in the video. This is personally important as I have subbed for 14 years and the class that didn't get behind was the teacher that left a clear lesson plan. The unit test pulled many of the units together a look at how teaching is a balance of many elements coming together for student success.
