This unit discussed the different types of tests and evaluations useful to English students and teachers. Some of the tests and evaluations discussed are internal and are distributed according to the teacher's preference and/or the school's requirements, while others are external tests that can be taken for applications to universities or jobs. The unit explained the different kinds of English tests and certificates available and discussed the differences so that students will be able to take the test that would be most beneficial to her/him moving forward from her/his ESL class. This unit was helpful to me as I consider how to assist my students in their application processes for jobs and universities after learning English.
