This lesson gives an outline of a productive lesson in which students are creating the English content themselves. My lessons in the classroom are online and mainly focus on speaking rather than writing, so most of the information pertinent to my class is in the beginning of this lesson. The point that accuracy and creative lessons should be separate is an important part of the class that I need to remember. Sometimes I get too focused on correcting my young students too much and don't allow them to freely produce the language. From now on I will separate the two aspects of the lesson into the study and activate phases. This was probably the most useful information in unit 12. The ideas for games is also very helpful because the kids love games and it allows me to provide incentive when they are studying.
