This unit talks about expressing people?s thoughts in terms of grammar rules using modal auxiliary verbs, and how to set the concentration on parts of the passive and active voice sentences. Also, it shows the differences in the meaning of sentences and clauses of different types when using phrasal verbs. I learned from this unit that, in order to make people get our targeted language points on a topic, we have to clarify our meaning using basic grammatical rules usages in addition to the punctuation. In my opinion, using tenses with basic grammar to send the meaning is essential because it keeps the interlocutor in the track of the speech to correctly comprehend what is being said and what kind of language is being used.
