This unit presented videos of the same teacher-class in two different versions of the same class material. The first video was an example of a teacher giving a very poor lesson. He makes numerous errors including speaking too quickly, exhibiting sour and condescending attitude, ignoring the students, using almost irritated tone and body language, and failing to establish initial rapport with the students. He also gives poor instructions, fails to provide adequate materials, talks too much, and spends too much time writing on the whiteboard with his back to the students. The second video is much better on all accounts and the students appear much more engaged and happy.
