This unit I learned most everything in detail for the first time. I didn't realize before how complicated the future tense must be to learn how to use properly. What I found especially useful was the breakdown this time, of how the sentences are formed. For example, I can now recognize a future perfect continuous sentence because I know that the structure of one is will+have+been+verb+ing. This makes it much easier to tell apart from especially the future continuous sentence structure which is subject+will+be+verb+ing. I also think diary activities are great for the students because then they can practice thinking about the future in English, and also make sentences that they may be able to use in real life when talking about future plans with friends.
