This unit presents a number of common problem situations a prospective English language teacher may face in the classroom. As a total beginner to running a class, I found it extremely helpful. Some of the possible problematic scenarios tackled in this unit included giving your first lessons and how to manage the different groups one may face (very large classes, classes with students of varying levels, classes where all the students speak the same language, etc). Additionally, some ideas were offered in how to warm a class up, as well as deal with student issues like reluctance in speaking English.
