This unit focuses on how to teach the students new vocabulary, grammar and functions. It covers what may make teaching vocabulary difficult such as its similarity or difference to the students native language. It furthers outlines how to select the vocabulary, techniques for teaching it and it gives an example of a lesson plan. It shows what the students need to know when learning new grammar, it's meaning, usage etc. It also gives teaching techniques and a possible lesson plan. It describes language functions suggesting, inviting etc and gives a possible lesson plan. It further shows how the different types of lesson plans can be applied to teaching new language. I learnt all of the above.
