The focus of this unit was lesson planning. It gave important reasons for why teachers should plan their lessons. Inexperienced teachers were advised to not only write down their lesson plans, but also write down a self-evaluation of their teaching after the lesson. I enjoyed the sections on beiing organized and what information should be included in a lesson plan. Even if i chose a different page layout for my lesson plans, I still would know what important information to include. The visual examples of a lesson plan and teacher self-evaluation were really valuable for me because sometimes I'm a visual learner. The brief section with advice on how to plan a sequence of lessons was helpful but I wish a visual example of lesson plans for a short series of lessons was included.
