This unit covered the various equipment and teaching aids available to teachers. Given that keeping students engaged is important because it fosters their desire to learn, a variety of visual and audio aids are necessary to vary lessons in a way that will touch on each student in some way at some point. From movies, to radio broadcasts, to newspapers, etc. there is a multitude of aids available. One thing I appreciated about this lesson is it presented a breadth of resources and not every classroom I may teach in will have all of them, but I will be better able to utilize the resources that ARE available.
