This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
The unit gave insight on the four present tenses being 'the present simple', 'the present continuous', 'the present perfect' and the 'present perfect continuous'. I learned how to form the tense, in which situation you are using the tense, typical mistakes that students make while using the tense, and sample activities that encourage the students to use the tense.
As a non-native speaker it is hard to distinguish the difference between the 'present perfect' and the 'present perfect continuous'. I can relate to my future students, that might get difficulties with this grammar point as well. I can anticipate on my students, because I also needed to learn the tenses, and can come up with activities that will help my students to understand the 'present perfect' and 'present continuous'.
