This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 6 reviewed past tenses and their usage. I learned that past simple is formed by adding -ed, and describes something that was completed prior to now. Past perfect is identified by the use of \"had\" and describes an action that was finished in the past before something else happened. Past perfect continuous dscribes events that happened continually but were completed in the past. I think...I find this all very difficult. Past continuous usually makes a reference to time and is identified by words ending in \"ing\". It describes things that began in the past and are still happening at the time it is talked about. Story-telling is a good exercise for learning past tenses.
