While teaching a new language teachers must teach students 4 main parts in learning the language - reading, listening, writing and speaking. If a person wants to learn the language he/she must be able to read, write, understand what other people say and also to be able to talk to other people. And teachers need to know how to teach their students to get these skills! Receptive skills are very important, because without these skills it's impossible to learn the language. This unit gives the full information about the receptive skills (reading and listening). It points out all the tasks that teacher should take into account while teaching. The unit also tells us about some problems that may appear while teaching. In the end of the unit there are some really good examples of teaching reading and listening. The unit is structured in a simple way that gives the opportunity to learn all the material easily! Thank you!
