This lesson talked about reading, listening, writing, and speaking in a way that categorized them and discussed them from the point of view of a student learning a language. An ESA structure was presented using Elvis and his biography and songs as an example. I particularly appreciated the \"Teaching receptive skills exercises which talked about what people wear. This is a good topic because it is of general interest to most everyone. The exercises included reading and testing a narrative for understanding and then answering questions and filling in gaps in a sentence. It also gave an opportunity to be creative by writing sentences about clothing in their country.
