In this unit, I watched two videos that illustrate an ineffective and effective teaching style, respectively. These two videos contain the same teacher, the same students and the same lesson content, but the teacher's attitude in the first video is absolutely horrible. He shows no interest in his students and is very \"disconnected\" from his students, from his teaching materials, even from himself (many times during the video, the teacher is at a loss as to what to do next, he looks unhappy while teaching and I often wonder why he's a teacher in the first place). In the second video, the teacher is very engaging, he clearly enjoys teaching and he shows interest in all of his students. This unit shows me that a teacher's attitude and teaching style are very important. An ineffective teacher teaches little and wastes both his time and that of his students.
