Unit 3 covered several different methodologies of learning each with it's own strengths and weaknesses. Engage, Study and Activate was presented as this courses core of teaching. As a new student to teaching I found the this material exciting as it gave the basis to actually teaching a class. The examples of elicitation,the use of flash card, pictures were quite helpful. As well as, the the examples of engage, study and activate such as straight arrow, boomerang and patchwork lessons. The importance proper correcting was also a helpful subject showing the importance of not diminishing the students motivation to learn English. All in all an informative unit.
