This unit focused on grammar. In particular, it focused on Modal auxiliary verbs, passive voice, clauses and phrasal verbs. Some teaching ideas for modal auxiliary verbs are role playing, rules and signs. A passive voice is used when something is not important, it is not known or we don't want to say who performs an action. You can teach passive voice by cutting passive sentences and getting students to match them.The non-native English student is concerned with learning the language, being able to express his feelings through speech, and as he reaches this goal, he begins to seek improvement.
