Even though i was familiar with the language,my knowledge about Teaching methods & techniques were very low. Therefore studying this unit gave me a vast knowledge about different methods of teaching,specially when it comes to a language.Learning the ESA process gave me a broad knowledge about tranfering a language effectively to the students depending on the target group,as it teaches various types of methodologiesThis unit covered conditionals and reported speech. Teaching conditionals to students is very much straight forward, but teaching reported speech is slightly more difficult as good previous knowledge of verb tenses is needed. A great way to help students grasp this learning area is to practice verbally and give a variety of scenarios that will focus students on how to correctly use reported speech in everyday life.
