Unit 9 is about lesson planning. I enjoyed this unit as it brings together what we have studied thus far and begins to combine it into a strategy. It starts out with the basic principles of writing out a lesson plan and how to stay organized. It then goes on to teach us what to consider when trying to decide what to include in the plan. We are then given some examples to study to help us create plans for ourselves.This unit taught us about different verb tenses in the English Language. As TEFL instructors, we need to understand that there are technically 12 tenses, however, in this unit we cover only four of them: present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. We also covered certain aspects or areas to teach about the tenses, such as: usage, typical student errors, form, and activities.
