In this unit, I learned about conditionals and reported speech. First, the unit explained conditionals from zero to third and mixed conditionals with their forms and usage. Then, examples of typical student errors/mistakes were provided. Next, the unit introduced some ideas for teaching conditionals. Then, directed and reported speech were presented, which are used to say what someone else talked about in the past.Understanding how to evaluate and test students is an integral part of teaching English (as well as in general). Not knowing the level of a student could mean that you would not know how to effectively teach them and you would waste your and their time. Students choose to learn English for various reasons, but it is also important to be aware of the external test that they may take and prepare them appropriately.
