This unit described the usage of past simple, past perfect, past continuous and past perfect continuous forms. It also presented various activate stage ideas for each one, as well as common errors that students learning English might make. Irregular verb forms for past simple and past participles were also listed. These are all useful topics for teaching the past tense.In this unit i reflected on the past tenses. They were very well explained and I understood immediately how to make a difference between all of the past tenses. I also learnt different ways how to teach them to the students whilst keeping their attention and how to make it understandable for them. I learnt about the common mistakes that people make with the past tenses.
