this unit brings up the idea of teaching the two receptive skills of reading and listening. It shows how an ESA sysyem can be followed to present such a lesson. The lesson is more practical with these skills as it depends more on students' interaction and understanding. The two skills are important and the other productive skills can also be involved within one lesson.After watching both lessons it has become clear how teacher's attitude makes a difference. Another thing that is worth mentioning is how smooth the transition was from STUDY to ACTIVATE phase. It didn't require any boring grammar explanations and I believe that this is what makes lessons useful as they show how the language can actually be used in real life. Thank you.
