This unit covered productive skills, which are speaking and writing. This unit talked about the importance of each one and the best ways to teach them. One thing I learned is that you will teach different things in different ways. For example, accuracy is typically taught during the study phase of a lesson while fluency is typically taught during the activate stage of a lesson.This unit gives us the ways of evaluating students.
The new information for me is the list of the test types which have different purposes (placement tests, progress tests, diagnostic tests, etc.).
