The receptive skills are reading and listening. Both are equally important. Students need to learn how to read and listen in order to learn more. We need to always read and listen carefully to our students so we can help them the best that we can. Reading and listening skills seem ingrained in us, but they really are not and we need to teach our students so they can hone their reading and listening skills.I would like to know more about these tests. I think I would like to do a CAE test. I believe that it will give me more opportunities later in life. I live in China now, but as soon as I move back to the Netherlands, my level of English and my qualifications are not good enough to teach at a high school. It would be a good idea to start understanding my own level of English. Maybe it needs more attention.
