Conditional sentences are used to tell what could happen, what we wish could happen and what might have happened . There are four types of conditional tenses from zero, one, two, three to mixed conditional .In all cases `if` is used .
Most of the time we have to give information about what people say or think. In order to do this we can use direct or quoted speech, which is also called indirect or reported speech .I've never thought about the fact that won't is the negative form of will before. It was good to learn that the future perfect continuous often uses 'by' in the beginning of the sentence and 'for' in the middle of the sentence. I almost never use 'shall', and it was good to be reminded that it is a more formal version of 'will.' Also, I agree that 'will' has more intention, coercion, and determination than 'shall.'
