This unit took me much time to go through but it was interesting to finally know how the phonetic alphabet actually works and which parts of a word or sentence must be stressed. English pronunciation is not easy and I know it as I am not a native English speaker myself. I think it is very important that the teachers master it as well as possible and are able to transmit how to pronounce by spending time teaching it.Unit 7 \"Teaching, grammar and functions\" teaches us how to arrange the lesson in teaching students new language and its vocabulary. Vocabulary is very important to the students. Teacher should teach students about a new vocabulary word: Meaning of the word, how to use word, word grammar, interaction,spelling,pronunciation. Teacher could use different activities:Gap-fill exercises,word searches, matching exercises.
