This unit discusses the tools that teachers will use in the classroom and which purpose the item is effective at. There are many things a teacher can use, and some are good for all of the parts of a lesson. Knowing the correct way to use something, for instance, an Overhead projector or smartboard is important because there is little room for error in class, and time is particularly important when planning lessons.This unit covered potential problems that may be encountered when teaching, such as large classes, reluctant students, and what to do in various difficult situations, or how to address teaching a class of different levels. It also taught me several techniques, such as dealing with a new class of students who didn't know each other in advance, and using the 'warmers' techniques to get everyone together and motivated.
