This unit discussed the factors in teaching vocabulary,the criteria in selecting vocabulary to teach,what the students need to know about a vocabulary item,techniques and suggestions on the different methods of teaching vocabulary.It also detailed the grammatical structures,and language functions and examples of each teaching method.Repetitive discussions on the methods which are helpful in absorbing the whole idea.This unit was the source of information I needed to be able to maintain classroom management. It has given me numerous insight on classroom management. Such as the pros and cons of classroom arrangement, I have always been the type to be in a more intimate classroom and being able to interact with the all the students equally. So it was nice to know that it is acceptable to use the circles and horseshoe arrangement.
