In this unit i learnt about the different lesson materials and course books you can use when teaching a lesson and the advantages and disadvantages on the course materials. I've learnt the difference between the authentic materials and the created materials, the authentic materials are things like poems, newspapers or songs and created materials are most likely something that the teacher has designed for the lesson.from this unit I learned a lot about the methodologies of teaching English. Basic principles of teaching, what to do and what not to do in certain situations and why. There are definitely many ways to teach a language but the ESA method is what we are using, and I do see how it can be effective as it is very well thought out and thorough in its thoughtfulness and consideration to both the students and the teacher.
