Watching the two lessons was an excellent opportunity to see how important it is to start the class off right. When you enter and interact appropriately with the students it creates an environment that is comfortable and they learn with ease. Having the students provide their names made it a personal relationship and brought them out of their shells. Working in groups of two also helped make them more comfortable.Lesson planning is a great way to guide a new teacher. It also serves as a record of things done in the class and the progress of the students. When making one, we must consider several factors such as number of students, their language level and the aims of the lesson. Learning about the ESA structures will contribute further to making lesson plans. Effective lesson planning may be aided by previous self-evaluation.
