In this unit, the most useful information to me regarded establishing rapport to become an effective teacher. While learning about discipline and dealing with problem students is necessary, building a positive relationship with them can prevent discipline problems in the first place. Since I don't have any real classroom experience at this point, I feel that I can put many of these concepts to use fairly immediately.the chapter on past tense is quite confusing because even with the rules and the backbone that was provided on how a proper sentence form for each of them are, it took me a while to try and decipher which category each sentence falls under. i feel that this chapter and the chapter on present tense would take a longer time to teach because while it can be understood, it might take a longer time to apply these concepts
