This unit recapped the various past tense forms and gave examples of when to use them. Now I am able to explain these past tenses to students who are beginners at the English language. Especially seeing how English contains many irregular verbs, the table helped to clearly display what common verbs have irregular simple past forms. It helped me to be mindful of ensuring students are able to identify these.Having the students participate through each of the three stages of engage, study, and activate will help them to remember what they learn. Asking them to discuss the subject at the beginning will warm them up, doing worksheets will help them to study, and finally, having them complete the activity and present it in groups or alone will complete the process and show the teacher how much they've understood.
