This unit was helpful in assisting teachers to understand the concept of teaching materials. The different types of materials such as authentic and created were also discussed. Course book materials disadvantages and advantages were also covered in this unit.Unit 18 is about modals, phrasal verbs, and the passive voice. It first talks about the many uses of the modal verbs such as may, might, can, should, and could. It explains the different degrees on when and how to use them. The second part is about the passive voice and changing the present, past, and future tenses into the passive form. The last topic is on phrasal verbs and clauses.
