Reading and listening are not simply matters for the eyes and ears, but also a matter of using our minds and skills (predictive skills, specific information, general idea, detailed information, deduction from context) to gain true understanding.In this unit Managing the classroom I find again to be very crucial to all teachers. In that, understanding how the students background-(eg.nationality) and how to group them for effective learning to take place. I have learnt how important it is to know when to make use of certain body language infront of the class and how this impacts the learnin. From eyes to hand gestures are also very important as the teacher.
