I am quite familiar with tenses but it was again a very useful thing to revise them. I learnt what are the most typical student errors or mistakes when it comes to tenses. I also learnt a good set of ways to teach different tenses. It is often difficult for foreign students to recognize different tenses and therefore it is vital to use various teaching ideas during lessons.This reminds me of a reading program we taught back in the 90's call Success Reading. It dealt with all the information given in this section. It was open ended as I see a lot of in this unit. We used news papers, magazines, music, and integrated all subject areas to teach reading in English. So this could certainly be used to teach the English Language to foreign students.
