This unit discussed pronunciation and phonology with emphasis on things such as intonation, stress, and articulation. It discussed the anatomy of the mouth and throat, the speech organs, and places of articulation. It went over the phonetic alphabet and gave examples of different manners of articulation. For each area it also discussed different techniques for how to teach students such as games, tongue twisters, and diagrams.Pronunciation in teaching and learning is important.
