This unit introduced several methodologies used in EFL classrooms. It then laid out the principles of the Engage-Study-Activate (ESA) method, which will be the primary method taught in this course. It described activities used in the Engage, Study, and Activate stages, as well as different ways lessons can be structured. This unit also touched upon feedback, such as who, when, and how feedback should be given.This unit introduces many different teaching and lesson planning styles, along with emphasis on the Engage-Study-Activate style. This unit provides numerous standalone activity ideas, along with activity ideas specialized to each stage of ESA. The unit further provides some lesson planning support and encourages the teacher to keep their teaching style \"fresh\" for both their sake, and their students' sake.
