This unit, I have learnt about the different roles a teacher assumes in the classroom environment. It is understood that there will be times when situations may occur and the teacher will have to take on roles to further assist students in accomplishing their goals. It further talks about the adult learner and their reasons for taking BE, the advantages/disadvantages that the teacher will have to be mindful of when teaching.In this chapter we have learned about different ways of evaluating students we found out that there are three ways of doing so: tutorials, evaluation by the students as well as different test. We have learn that there are few particular ways and stages of testing and assessing students knowledge of English . The unit also discussed many different external examinations that we as teachers might have to proper the students for.
