Unit 6 presents information on the grammar cause 'past tense'. This regards past time periods in literature. The past tense is broken down in four sections; past simple, past continuous, past perfect, past perfect continuous. The past simple derives from the base word and then adding a suffix i.e 'ed' on the end of the word. Such as start as the base word and started as the past tense.This section was very helpful in understanding the different types of tests available for evaluation of students. It was helpful in understanding why teachers need to evaluate students and the different tools available that can be used by the teachers. It was also beneficial to understand the different types of external exams that are available and the objective of each of those tests.
