A quite enlightening unit it taught me the different types of tests and what they are generally used for. I believe that each test is beneficial for the student's progress in learning English as a second language. Also it showed me how to design test, so I can know the students interests and fluency so I can better cater my classes to their needs and wants.I am a big planner so I enjoyed this lesson. I do a lot of substitute teaching and find it really frustrating when the teacher does not leave a lesson plan or at least tell me what chapter or page they are working on in their books. The test was helpful in thinking about the ESA component of the lesson plan but it would be helpful if the chapter discussed it.
