It is also interesting to see how it is best to deliver this in a ESA structured lesson.An emphasis on neat handwriting is necessary in order to establish respect and appreciation for writing. If you don't encourage a student to write neatly, they will probably not take pride in the writing process itself. Spelling, layout, and punctuation are immaterial if you can't read the words. Good fluency activities are a great way to get students excited to learn.
