Unit 18 discusses Modals, Phrasal Verbs and Passive Voice. It teaches Grammar, Basic Rules (Obligation, Possibility and Probability, Permission/Prohibition, Ability/Advice), teaching ideas, Active/Passive voices, usage, relative clauses, and Intransitive and Transitive Separable and Inseparable Verbs. It also discusses what a good grammar reference book should have in it.This unit as the previous one didn't give a lot of new information.Productive skills require a lot of practice to be improved. And the choice of topics is greafly influenced by the level of students and their cultural values. Among lots of the groups there are students who cannot discuss different topics even in their native language, because they are not taught to do that.
