in unit 15, we look at ways of assessing students? levels and progresses by means of:
tutorials: as a group or individual
evaluations: survey by the students regarding their course, to create mutual interactions among teacher & students.
tests: such as placement tests for initial formation of group within the same levels, periodic progress tests, achievement tests.In this unit, I have leaned about several class patterns and activities. This gave me not only an idea of practical activities for class but also which activities can be suitable for students to acquire language depending on each phase: Engage, Study and Activte. I realized how the Study focused class style of typical Korean class is problematic for languge teaching.
