Unit 8 is about the future tense. It is probably the most complex of the tenses. Even some of the present tenses can be used with future meanings. There are no new conjugations for the future tense. Usually something is added to the present tense form to create a future meaning. The future perfect and future perfect continuous can easily be confused, so special attention and effort should be made to make these clear.Modal auxiliary verbs are words like can, could, would, may, might, and shall. Modal auxiliary verbs are used to express obligation, probability, permission, ability, and advice. Two different kinds of voices are used in English: active and passive. In the passive voice, the object of an active verb is swapped with the subject of the passive verb. Both have the same meaning, but the focus of the sentence has changed.
