Although i have been trying hard to implement these strategies in the classroom but seem difficult because their level of English language acquisition by the student in my school is low and they tend to get frustrated during lessons.This doesn't allow them to communicate effectivelyThis unit covered the use of coursebooks and in which circumstances they should and shouldn't be used.
The advantages of coursebooks are they look engaging to the students, they cover methods and vocabulary already learned henceforth contain good natural progression, they are helpful for inexperienced teachers.
The disadvantages include not being catered to specific classes and the teachers can become over-dependant on them.
