It was really useful for me to see the importance of teaching and training listening and reading skills, so the students can be more productive instead of reading each word when looking for a specific information. I also found it useful to learn the criteria for choosing texts and dialogues according to the students' level, age, culture and interests, so the activities can be challenging but at the same time, not overwhelming.This unit discussed the use of conditionals in speech. The four different kinds of conditionals; zero, first, second, third and mixed, separate statements into their respective categories based on the time frame the statement refers to and whether the claim is real or hypothetical. A good way for learners to develop the skill of using conditionals appropriate is to role-play as journalists, mediators, or marriage counselors.
