In this unit, I learned the difference between teaching accuracy and fluency, as well as many activities to practice both. This unit also pointed out that handwriting can affect one?s ability to read because poor handwriting may make it more difficult to read and understand. This unit also gave many examples of games that can used to stimulate and engage the students, while also practicing what they are learning.This is another unit I will need to continue reviewing in order to better learn and remember the tense-types, rules and their application in a classroom setting. The sample sentences and the examples of common errors helps me understand the challenges that a non-English speaker may/will display, and what to look for when teaching in order to prevent errors or mistakes from becoming rule in the minds of the student/s.
